It is located in the capital San José. This theater was built in the S XIX, in 1897 and for its architectural value is declared a national monument. With a neoclassical architectural style, it presents elements of Baroque and Rococo style in its decoration. You can see in its interior several decorations made of Carrara marble. It is an important space where different manifestations of the performing arts are presented, such as plays, dance, concerts with symphony orchestras. Meetings and state dinners are also held.
