La Salle Natural Science Museum
Museum of Natural Sciences La Salle (1 block south of Channel 7, entrance to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Sabana south San Jose), this museum (located in the private Catholic school La Salle) has more than 70,000 samples on display, In areas such as paleontology, geology, malacology (some 14,000 samples), invertebrates, 8,400 samples, fish, reptiles, birds and mammals. The “Jurassic Park” of Hollywood (whose history is on an island in Costa Rica). Hours: from 8:00 a.m. at 4:00 p.m. (Monday to Saturday), from 9:00 a.m. at 5:00 p.m. (Sunday). Admission: ¢ 500 (local adult), ¢ 400 (local child), $ 2 (foreign adult), $ 1.50 (foreign child).
