Doka Estate Coffee Tour
Doka Estate Coffee Tour is a tour that takes place in the coffee capital of Costa Rica: Sabanilla, Alajuela. The farm belongs to the Costa Rican family Vargas Ruiz, a pioneer in the production of coffee for more than 70 years, being awarded the best coffee farm in Costa Rica by the International Coffee Week Association / SINTERCAFE. The main objective of the Coffee Tour is to educate and inform the local and international population regarding the whole production process, as well as coffee processing. The tour takes place at Finca Doka (on the slopes of the Poás Volcano) where you can learn about the production, harvest, processing plant and grain roasting.
The tours are held at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm (Monday through Friday); 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm (weekends). Price: $ 20 (adult), $ 10 (child up to 12 years old).
